Norman & Susan Westgate with Daughter Marsha & Holly started Susie's BBQ in 1997 at the Nevada State Barbecue Championship In Carson City ,NV. In 1999 they joined the Kansas City Barbeque Society and started cooking on the pro circuit against the best cooks in the US. Through the Year's Susie's BBQ has progressed from a small backyard Brinkman Cooler to the present an Old Hickory Pitt that can hold 800 lbs of meat in one cooking cycle.
